Abstract:
New generalized distributions namely Topp-Leone-G Power Series class of
distributions, Marshall-Olkin-Exponentiated Odd Exponential Half Logistic-G
family of distributions, Exponentiated Odd Exponential Half Logistic-G Power
Series class of distributions and Marshall-Olkin-Type II-Topp-Leone-G family
of distributions are presented. Properties of these generalized distributions
including series expansion of density functions, hazard functions, quantile
functions, moments, conditional moments, mean deviations, Bonferroni and
Lorenz curves, Renyi entropy and distribution of order statistics are discussed. ´
The maximum likelihood estimates of the model parameters are given and
simulation studies are performed to assess the consistency of the model
parameters. Real data sets are used on the presented models to illustrate their
usefulness in comparison to some non-nested distributions.
