In this webinar, the discussions are part of open access week celebrations globally. The deliberations covers challenges faced by researchers from the global North as they are at risk of producing low impact research because they do not have access to competitive edge of resources as compared to their counterparts from the global North. The first speaker talks about what the Association of African Universities does to improve and promote open access to member institutions, the next speakers shares challenges he faces due to limited resources and how open access is a game changer in making him competitive with researchers from the global North. The last presenter speaks about open solutions.
