This volume is the proceedings of BIUST Research and Innovation Symposium 2019 (RDAIS 2019) held on June 4-7, 2019 at Botswana International University of Science and Technology in Palapye, Botswana. It contains full papers and abstracts of submissions presented in three tracks comprising of posters, oral presentations, and innovations. There were 269 authors from Botswana, and the rest of 38 authors were from Austria, Germany, India, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Oman, Philippines, Romania, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, and Zimbabwe.
